Treatment

Prednisone – Corticosteroid/anti-inflammatory, 1cc every other day to reduce inflammation of the liver

Periactin – Appetite stimulant, 1/2 tablet as needed when Fancy becomes inappetant

Cat Lax – Feline laxative, approximately 1 tbsp every week to assist in hairball digestion (yummay!)

Amoxycillin – Antibiotic, 1cc two times a day as needed to treat sinus infection secondary to vomiting

Metociopramide (Reglan) – Anti-nausea/vomit suppressant, 1cc three times a day as needed to prevent vomiting

Canned pumpkin – Natural laxative/fiber, 1 tbsp as needed to treat constipation secondary to inflammation of the liver

B-12 injections – As needed to stimulate appetite

Subcutaneous fluids or forced water – As needed to prevent dehydration secondary to vomiting/inappetance

Lots of love, cuddling, kisses and petting – Administered in staggeringly high doses and probably makes me feel better moreso than Fancy
